About the role

The General Project Supervisor will oversee the organization, control and monitoring of all construction activities at the Afungi site in Mozambique. Reporting to the Construction Management team, the role ensures that works are executed according to schedule, quality standards and resource optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate human and material resources to guarantee timely execution of the project.
• Monitor progress, control quality and ensure compliance with the construction plan.
• Liaise closely with the Direction of Works to align activities and resolve issues.
• Optimize the use of resources and drive continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in similar construction projects.
• Fluent English (mandatory) and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel and be mobile as required.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of pre‑fabrication techniques.
• Execution of combiwalls and large‑diameter tubular pile driving.
• Experience with tensioning/anchoring systems.
• Construction of crown beams.
• Proficient in reading and analysing construction drawings and project documents.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office tools.
