Pharmacy Technician

About the role

The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support its emergency health response in Pemba, Mozambique. The role will focus on procurement, stock management, and distribution of medicines, vaccines, and health commodities for the ongoing public‑health emergency.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the WHO local warehouse according to established procedures.
• Maintain stockpiles of medical products for provincial public‑health emergency risks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly consumption reports, including stock analysis.
• Assess provincial logistics capacities together with local supply‑chain coordinators.
• Support the development of logistic plans and related protocols.
• Track product pipelines, identify gaps, and provide data for prioritisation decisions.

Required profile

• Under supervision of the WHO Incident Manager and the sub‑office head.
• Experience in humanitarian logistics or health‑sector supply chain management.
• Ability to work in a complex emergency environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
