Assistant Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Internal Auditor to support our Internal Audit function across head office, stores, and factories. You will assist in conducting audits, verifying stock, and ensuring compliance with internal policies while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of internal audits across stores and departments.
• Participate in stock counts and operational verifications.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collect, organize, and analyze audit documentation and evidence.
• Assist in preparing preliminary and final audit reports.
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and process inefficiencies.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of information.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal procedures.
• Perform additional audit‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in auditing, stock control, internal controls or administrative roles is an advantage.
• High integrity, strong attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to travel frequently across locations and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of auditing and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
