Finance Officer – Marine Services

About the role

As a Finance Officer you will manage the day‑to‑day financial administration for one or more contracts or entities within a marine and oil‑and‑gas environment. You will be responsible for month‑end closing, reporting, budgeting and ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute general‑ledger administration for assigned contracts/entities.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet files and run the month‑end closing process, including inter‑company reconciliations.
• Produce monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, movement schedules) and management analysis.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor fixed‑asset valuation, depreciation and SSC activities.
• Prepare and submit tax filings and annual financial statements in line with local legislation.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper document filing.
• Participate in finance projects and contribute to process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control, Accountancy or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience handling multiple administrations, contracts or entities.
• Experience in the marine and/or oil‑and‑gas industry is preferred.
