About the role
Vodafone is looking for an M-Pesa Relationship Manager to drive corporate client acquisition and deepen existing relationships within the corporate sector. You will be responsible for expanding the M-Pesa ecosystem, delivering innovative financial solutions, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire new corporate clients and identify fresh business opportunities.
- Maximize upselling and cross‑selling within the existing client base.
- Collaborate with internal teams to set targets and align sales strategy with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, articulate opportunities and threats, and ensure target achievement.
- Manage support teams to meet service level agreements and drive client satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to product performance, user engagement, and revenue growth.
- Build partnerships with fintech firms, banks, and other stakeholders to expand the M-Pesa offering.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Required profile
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management abilities.
- Previous experience in corporate sales or a similar sales environment.
- Proficiency in business process management and efficiency improvement.
- Innovative mindset capable of driving growth in a competitive market.
- Excellent reporting, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and financial inclusion.
- Academic background in Sales & Marketing, Management, or related fields.
- Understanding of API and monetisation concepts is a plus.
