Project Manager – UNICEF Digital Learning Programme

About the role

Street Child is seeking a Project Manager to lead a UNICEF‑funded digital learning programme titled “Providing Access to Quality Learning through Digital Modalities”. The 16‑month contract (May 2026 – August 2027) will cover implementation across Cabo Delgado, Nampula, Gaza and Maputo provinces, overseeing roughly 50 e‑learning centres.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and coordination of programme delivery, ensuring high‑quality, timely results.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team including Digital Learning Coaches, MEAL staff and technical support personnel.
• Ensure alignment with government systems, consortium partners and UNICEF requirements.
• Oversee the implementation of digital learning tools such as Learning Passport and Maza, integrating them into teaching practice.
• Monitor and report on learning outcomes and pathways to employment for children and youth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing education or digital learning projects in challenging contexts.
• Strong ability to work with government stakeholders, NGOs and international donors.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Project management and monitoring & evaluation (MEAL) expertise.
• Familiarity with e‑learning platforms and digital education tools.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage partnerships.
