Project Supervisor

About the role

Alistair Group is seeking a Project Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations across its logistics sites in Mozambique. The role involves overseeing drivers, construction staff, maintenance crews and operators while maintaining site integrity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor attendance and performance of drivers, construction staff, maintenance and operators.
• Ensure all operational tasks follow established processes and procedures.
• Conduct daily and weekly site walk‑arounds, identify hazards, and produce corrective action reports.
• Perform risk assessments for all tasks and enforce full PPE usage.
• Prepare timesheets, log work for invoicing, and manage goods receipt documentation.
• Maintain HSE compliance, assist with incident investigations, and report unsafe practices.
• Liaise with clients on‑site to resolve issues and represent Alistair Group professionally.
• Coordinate waste segregation, disposal, and record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within logistics or related industries.
• Self‑motivated, able to multitask and lead by example.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Authority to manage drivers, operators, maintenance and construction staff.
