About the role
The Procurement Clerk will support project teams by managing the acquisition of parts and materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effective sourcing. This role is based on the yard and works closely with drivers, mechanics, project managers and other operational staff.
Key responsibilities
- Place orders for new parts, monitor supplier delivery schedules and ensure on‑time receipt.
- Obtain multiple quotations, negotiate prices and select the most economical options.
- Maintain a pricing database to enable quick and accurate quoting for project needs.
- Generate procurement quotes and report any unsafe work practices.
- Provide operational support such as completing yard checklists, cleaning and other ad‑hoc tasks.
- Suggest improvements to storage layout, shelving and re‑ordering processes.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of procurement or related experience.
- Self‑motivated, able to multitask and learn quickly.
- Fluent in Portuguese and spoken English.
