Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs. The role combines strong analytical skills with deep technical knowledge of server‑side technologies to ensure high‑quality training data for artificial‑intelligence models.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples, REST API and GraphQL workflows, and micro‑service interactions.
• Label datasets that include authentication mechanisms, database queries, and event‑driven designs.
• Validate scalability, performance, reliability, and security standards of server‑side implementations.
• Provide structured evaluation feedback and engineering reasoning for each annotated item.
• Review and assess code performance, logic accuracy, and adherence to secure coding practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms.
