Corporate Finance Specialist

About the role

The Corporate Finance Specialist will support the company’s global financial strategy by overseeing cash management, lender reporting, and project finance operations. This role ensures compliance with finance agreements and drives initiatives that improve cash flow efficiency and overall financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Align daily finance activities with the company’s global financial objectives.
• Manage cash waterfall processes and optimize treasury operations.
• Prepare and submit all lenders and central banking reports.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance cash‑flow efficiency.
• Monitor project finance risk and propose mitigation measures.
• Maintain Treasury SOX controls and act as backup for Operation Lead and Cash Management specialists.
• Provide regular project financing performance updates to senior leadership.
• Oversee compliance of operators, SPEs, and concessionaires with finance and security agreements.
• Manage relationships with lenders, agents, and independent consultants, organizing meetings as needed.
• Govern the Offshore Borrower Entity, including budget, resources, and UAE office management.
• Lead lender due‑diligence processes and coordinate funding plans for a $16 billion portfolio.
• Monitor procurement to maximize debt utilization of ECA loan facilities.
• Draft, review, and distribute project reports to lenders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate or project finance, treasury, and large‑scale funding management.
• Strong understanding of finance agreements, SOX compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with lenders, agents, and internal teams.
• Ability to analyze project execution impacts on financing terms and negotiate waivers when necessary.
• Leadership capability to guide finance operations and support cross‑functional teams.
