Country General Manager

About the role

iColo is looking for a Country General Manager who will own the business performance, P&L, strategic execution and country operations. The role ensures alignment with company strategy and shareholder expectations, and acts as the external face of iColo in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for country operations.
• Own and manage P&L performance and operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth, operational excellence and profitability.
• Lead execution of the company's growth strategy and expansion objectives.
• Ensure local business priorities align with Digital Realty/iColo strategy.
• Provide leadership across departments and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain relationships with customers, partners, regulators and shareholders.
• Lead people management, succession planning and organizational effectiveness.
• Monitor risk, governance, compliance and operational controls.
• Drive employee engagement and culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, technology, commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior executive, country leadership, business unit leadership or general management role.
• Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibilities.
• Proven track record in driving business growth, operational performance and organizational leadership.
• Experience engaging with senior customers, regulators and executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Experience in data centres, telecommunications, technology infrastructure, cloud, digital infrastructure, utilities, engineering or related sectors.
• Experience in multinational or matrix organizations.
• Experience leading business transformation and organizational growth initiatives.
