Country Manager - Mozambique

About the role

The Country Manager will lead the Mozambique operations of an internationally recognised engineering and industrial services group. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic planning, commercial growth, and operational oversight across mining, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s business strategy for Mozambique, driving revenue and market share.
• Expand the portfolio in mining, industrial services, infrastructure and engineering projects.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with mining houses, EPCM firms and industrial operators.
• Oversee project delivery, financial performance, governance and risk management.
• Lead, mentor and develop a multicultural team of operational and senior managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred; electrical, industrial, civil or mining acceptable).
• 10‑15+ years of experience in mining, industrial services, EPC/EPCM or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Proven senior leadership or country‑management experience in Africa, with a strong commercial and business‑development track record.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in complex African industrial and mining contexts.
• Portuguese language proficiency is preferred.
