Distribution Manager – Mozambique

About the role

The Distribution Manager will lead insurance distribution in Mozambique, crafting and delivering a sales strategy to grow membership and achieve key business outcomes. Reporting to senior leadership, the role works across multi‑channel environments to drive product uptake and cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and implement a sales strategy to increase product uptake, encourage cross‑selling and enhance product engagement.
• Monitor market trends, legislation and best practices; conduct industry benchmarking to inform quality standards.
• Develop and oversee quality‑assurance assessments, reporting processes and policies aligned with business, compliance and client requirements.
• Design client retention frameworks, analyse retention trends and recommend improvements to products and services.
• Enhance system capability and usability to boost sales effectiveness and productivity.
• Support marketing and sales campaigns to ensure optimal uptake and influence.
• Manage selection and distribution of leads in line with campaign requirements and agreed timeframes.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Management.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification.
• 7–10 years experience in insurance distribution.
• 3–5 years senior management experience in a multi‑channel environment.
• Experience with broker development and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of legislative impact on the insurance industry.
