Early Warning & Community Engagement Senior Mentor

About the role

Sincerus Global Solutions is looking for an experienced Early Warning & Community Engagement Senior Mentor to embed with the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM). The mentor will guide the PRM in building intelligence‑led policing, early‑warning mechanisms and trusted community relationships to prevent threats to critical infrastructure and vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor PRM personnel on structured intelligence collection, validation, analysis and dissemination.
• Develop actionable intelligence products and practical workflows that integrate community‑sourced information.
• Design and implement U.S.-approved information‑sharing channels between PRM and village leaders in Macomia and Palma.
• Train PRM units in community‑engagement techniques that build trust and encourage reporting of suspicious activity.
• Advise on translating intelligence into timely operational responses, preventive actions and investigations.
• Provide day‑to‑day embedded mentorship, reinforcing training and supporting real‑time application of skills.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in military intelligence (JSOC preferred) or law‑enforcement‑led counter‑terrorism investigations.
• Proven field‑based advisory or mentoring experience with foreign partners.
• Deep understanding of the intelligence cycle (collection, analysis/evaluation, dissemination).
• Experience supporting or implementing community policing or community‑engagement approaches.
• Background working in rural or remote environments.
