Finance Control Manager (Marketing & Services)

About the role

As a Finance Control Manager within TotalEnergies Marketing & Services in Mozambique, you will lead financial governance and ensure compliance across a regulated oil market. You will work closely with internal teams and external regulators to maintain high standards of financial reporting and operational integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to the Company’s Code of Conduct and HSSE standards, fostering a safe work environment.
• Prepare, consolidate, and analyse monthly financial reports, including flash and final results, and explain variances versus budget and prior year.
• Oversee accounting operations such as statutory financial statements and tax declarations, guaranteeing compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Coordinate SAP‑related activities for the accounting division and validate system changes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise financial processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial control or accounting.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, organisational abilities and capacity to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Expertise in IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Budgeting and variance analysis.
