Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support TotalEnergies' Mozambique LNG joint venture by providing accurate financial information to partners and regulatory authorities. You will act as a key liaison between finance staff, Area 1 JV partners, and the broader organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly Joint Interest Billing (JIB) statements and cash calls in line with the Joint Operating Agreement.
• Respond to partner inquiries regarding billing, cash calls, and cost‑recovery reports.
• Maintain and monitor the Project Development Budget for approved projects and investments.
• Compile and submit monthly joint‑venture financial data for the Mozambique LNG project.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, the Joint Operating Agreement, and relevant regulatory decrees.
• Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned areas and submit them to regulatory authorities and Area 1 partners.
• Support other departments by providing data for cash calls, budgets, and partner reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics; Certified Accountant in Mozambique preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of finance experience, preferably in oil & gas or energy.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and other Windows‑based accounting applications.
