Integration Manager – Project Integration Lead

About the role

Rio Tinto is seeking an experienced Integration Manager to lead the Mutamba Project Integration at its greenfield mineral sands asset in Maputo, Mozambique. This senior position connects business strategy with project delivery to drive performance and value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end integration of the Mutamba project, aligning it with the RTIT plan and routine management.
• Develop and manage project estimates, schedules, and execution plans within the approved scope.
• Design and implement a stakeholder engagement plan throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor, report and act on key performance indicators to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with global Rio Tinto teams, resource development, and senior leadership to provide decision‑analysis and holistic support.
• Source and manage vendors or consultants, ensuring contract compliance.
• Drive rigorous weekly, monthly and quarterly planning and forecasting processes.
• Provide accurate financial and project analysis to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leadership and delivery in large, complex organisations.
• Strong project, financial and commercial acumen.
• Ability to engage, influence and develop high‑performing project teams.
• Experience in mining or mineral‑sands projects is highly desirable.
