ITaaP Integration Lead

About the role

Vodafone is looking for an ITaaP Integration Lead to own the delivery of a Southbound Integration Layer that exposes core IT applications through RESTful and event‑driven APIs. The role combines engineering management with Scrum Master duties, guiding a flexible team of software engineers to deliver high‑quality integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as product owner for RESTful and event APIs, gathering detailed requirements.
• Lead the engineering effort to design, build, and expose APIs according to the roadmap and technology standards.
• Serve as the technical authority for core‑IT integration development.
• Manage team capacity, plan backlog, and ensure on‑time delivery of committed work.
• Monitor and resolve faults or defects raised by customers and operations, minimizing impact.
• Promote the ITaaP vision and maximize API usage across customer journeys.
• Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous career development.

Required profile

• Honors degree in an IT‑related field.
• Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, and planning.
• Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner, CKAD, and Certified Scrum Master.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Apache Camel (Java).
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Demonstrated leadership of software‑engineer teams.
