Large Scale Private Sector & Investment Development Manager, Mozambique GV4G Program

About the role

TechnoServe is seeking a senior professional to lead enterprise growth and investment‑readiness activities under the Green Value for Growth (GV4G) programme in Mozambique. The manager will head a team that provides business advisory and technical assistance to agribusinesses of all sizes, helping them strengthen operations, become investment‑ready, and expand inclusive models that benefit smallholder farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of advisory and technical assistance services to small, medium and large agribusinesses.
• Support businesses in improving operational efficiency, financial management and investment readiness.
• Facilitate access to finance and promote inclusive business models for women and youth entrepreneurs.
• Drive business growth and attract private‑sector investment across soy, cashew and coffee value chains.
• Coordinate with the GV4G consortium, EU partners and the Dutch Embassy to ensure alignment with programme objectives.
• Monitor progress, report outcomes and ensure compliance with EU market standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in private‑sector development and agribusiness value chains.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and improve investment readiness of enterprises.
• Experience working in Mozambique or similar emerging‑market contexts.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
