Manager Wells, Roads and CPF Assets

About the role

The Manager Wells, Roads and CPF Assets is responsible for delivering Sasol Mozambique’s Site Services mandate. The role ensures asset integrity and supports people morale across the Central Processing Facility (CPF), Integrated Processing Facility (IPF), gas wells and the extensive road network, primarily through effective management of third‑party service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for gas wells, gas line manifold nodes, vegetation control, fire breaks, guardhouses, ablution facilities, plumbing and fence maintenance.
• Design and oversee maintenance programmes for the tar and gravel road network, including road repairs, standards, signage and prevention of encroachment on gas line servitudes.
• Create and manage maintenance plans for the CPF/IPF production area covering vegetation control, fire breaks, fence renewal, walkways, tar‑ and paved‑road upkeep, storm‑water system cleaning, potable water reticulation and central control infrastructure.
• Ensure all services are delivered cost‑effectively, safely and in compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
• Own the service, maintenance and contract strategies and supervise the scopes of work that enable their execution.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage third‑party service providers and contractual relationships.
• Strong focus on delivering services that meet legal, safety and cost‑efficiency standards.
• Experience in developing and executing maintenance strategies for infrastructure assets.
• Commitment to service centricity and enhancing end‑user experience.
