Senior Contract Engineer – Business (28/28 rotation)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Contract Engineer – Business to lead the full contract lifecycle within our Contracts & Procurement organization. Reporting to the Contracts & Procurement team and working closely with the DUET, you will shape contracting strategies, manage complex tenders and ensure seamless hand‑over to operational partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare contract dossiers, define contractual responsibilities and develop contracting strategies.
• Issue complex Calls for Tenders, perform commercial bid analysis and lead negotiations.
• Draft, negotiate and manage technical and complex contractual agreements, including use of existing frame agreements.
• Oversee insurance matters for assets and personnel, and ensure compliance with delegation of authority frameworks.
• Monitor ongoing contracts, support renewals, amendments and contractor performance with DUET.
• Coordinate claim and dispute resolution with Legal, Insurance, Finance and Management.
• Maintain contract management tools, track KPIs and promote continuous improvement of contract practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• 10–15 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in technical contracts.
• International experience and strong command of English.
• Advanced certification on C&P tools (e.g., UNISOL, IMPACT, SMART).
• Excellent negotiation, management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to train and onboard C&P personnel and manage cross‑functional, cross‑cultural interfaces.
