Site Document Controller – Oil & Gas (Mozambique)

About the role

The Site Document Controller will report to the Onshore Project Services Manager and will manage all project documentation for the Afungi oil & gas site. The role ensures efficient, accurate and secure handling of documents in line with company and project procedures, standards and HSSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, register, code, distribute and track project documents.
• Maintain master document registers and distribution matrices.
• Onboard local contractors into the New Prodom system and train internal and external users.
• Guarantee integrity and completeness of information in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Support preparation and control of red‑line and as‑built documentation and assist with hand‑over to operations.
• Respond to document and information requests from project stakeholders.
• Liaise with contractors and internal document control teams to ensure compliance with delivery requirements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma completed.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Document Controller in Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 2 years in a senior document control role.
• Experience on large‑scale engineering, construction or industrial projects.
• Fluency in English (mandatory); local language an advantage.
• Mozambican nationality.
