Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including receipt, storage, replenishment, shipping, and returns. The role ensures the facility runs at peak efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise end‑to‑end warehouse processes to meet on‑time delivery targets.
• Develop and implement operational systems for product handling, equipment utilisation, inventory control, and gate procedures.
• Train, coach and lead a warehouse team to resolve daily operational issues and achieve performance goals.
• Plan workflow, staffing, space layout and equipment requirements while ensuring productivity and quality standards.
• Oversee customer receipt, returns processing and crediting.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment and ensure compliance with legal and shipping regulations.
• Control warehouse costs, monitor KPIs and deliver financial‑year strategic plans.
• Implement VPO/DPO standards, manage peak‑season resourcing and drive continuous improvement of SOPs, SLAs and OWDs.
• Report monthly KPI data to Logistics Management and support plant audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to develop staff, set goals and manage performance.
