About the role
The Administration and Communications Intern will support the daily operations of Street Child Mozambique, providing both administrative and communications assistance. This 12‑month internship offers a motivated young professional the chance to gain hands‑on experience in an international NGO environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support, including filing, record‑keeping, and inventory management.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate minutes.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for workshops, trainings and meetings.
- Assist with procurement processes and ensure compliance with organisational procedures.
- Draft letters, official correspondence and other administrative documents.
- Support document formatting, proofreading and translation as needed.
- Develop communication materials such as social media posts, success stories, case studies and website updates.
- Capture photographs and collect content during programme activities and events.
- Prepare presentations, brochures, newsletters and other promotional items, adhering to branding guidelines.
Required profile
- Motivated young professional eager to work in an international NGO.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written English and ability to work collaboratively with programme, operations and management teams.
- Interest in developing skills in administration, communications and programme support.
