Asset Coordinator

About the role

The Asset Coordinator will act as a central facilitation platform, linking multiple disciplines to support the Asset’s effectiveness and efficiency. Based in Maputo, the role ensures alignment of business and technical inputs with the Asset’s strategy and Sasol Group objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver PSA License, PPA JOA License and Area A compliance messaging to partners and government bodies, including quarterly meetings.
• Analyse stakeholder drivers and develop strategies to secure buy‑in within project and business frameworks.
• Serve as the business interface between support services (commercial, legal, facilities, subsurface) and the Asset, integrating inputs for project framing and health‑check reporting.
• Align all outputs with the Asset Reference Plan and broader Sasol strategies.
• Create and maintain systems that support the Asset’s structures, processes and priorities as required by VP: Mozambique.
• Draft quarterly Exco, Board, TCM/OCM/MCM reports and other required submissions, adhering to the business calendar.
• Manage Asset reporting requirements, ensuring integrated deliverables are signed off by the Asset Manager.
• Document business decisions, actions and side issues to maintain a clear audit trail.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of licensing and regulatory compliance in the energy/chemicals sector.
• Ability to evaluate internal and external stakeholder interests and formulate effective engagement strategies.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on accurate record‑keeping and auditability.
• Proactive attitude towards personal growth and continuous development.
