About the role

Join TotalEnergies in Mozambique as a Buyer, responsible for sourcing goods and services, managing tender processes, and ensuring compliant procurement operations in a challenging market environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source and negotiate quotations with approved suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality and payment terms.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions in My eProc, ensuring correct material codes and attached supplier quotations.
• Maintain a competitive supplier panel with at least three qualified suppliers per category on the Approved Suppliers List.
• Coordinate tender processes, prepare documentation, launch via e‑sourcing tools and evaluate responses.
• Manage award procedures, issue award/regret letters and keep complete tender records.
• Maintain accurate supplier master data (bank details, contacts, activity status) and update the annual Approved Suppliers List.
• Conduct annual supplier evaluations and site visits to assess performance and compliance.
• Produce monthly purchasing and due‑diligence reports, track savings in AGORA and support end‑users of My eProc, SAP and Primavera.
• Promote HSSE compliance, support anti‑corruption due‑diligence and ensure segregation of duties.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of retail or procurement experience.
• Knowledge of SAP MM (Purchasing) and e‑sourcing tools (My eProc, ARIBA, AGORA, Primavera).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
