Camp Manager (Lead) – Remote LNG Construction

About the role

This 12‑month rotational position is based in Afungi and is aimed at a senior professional with deep expertise in remote camp operations within a major on‑shore LNG construction environment. You will own multiple accommodation camps, ensuring operational performance, HSE compliance, service quality and resident welfare for a large multinational workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage occupancy forecasting, room allocation, visitor scheduling and POB management systems across several camps.
• Coordinate mobilisation and demobilisation forecasts with HR, logistics, aviation and project teams.
• Oversee contracted soft‑service providers (catering, housekeeping, laundry, pest control, gardening, hospitality) and monitor KPIs, SLAs, audits and performance reviews.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP compliance, and conduct kitchen and accommodation inspections.
• Produce occupancy, KPI, contractor performance and budget reports while controlling operational expenditures.

Required profile

• Hotel or catering management certification, or equivalent logistics/camp management experience.
• Minimum 10 years of logistics operations and camp management at supervisor or superintendent level, preferably on large oil & gas or LNG construction projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple remote accommodation camps serving a high‑volume workforce.
• Fluent English; Portuguese or French language capability is a plus.
