Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Newrest is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of its subsidiary, reporting directly to the General Manager. The role combines strategic budgeting, cash management and compliance within an international, fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and train the local administrative team covering accounting, cash collection, tax & legal, treasury, internal control, cost control and payroll.
• Ensure production of corporate accounts, payroll and compliance with local accounting, tax and social obligations.
• Implement group standards and procedures, lead the budget process (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, CAPEX) and organise Board and Shareholder meetings.
• Maintain relationships with supervisory authorities, banking institutions, customers, suppliers, auditors and insurers.
• Produce monthly reporting, operational dashboards and provide ad‑hoc analyses for the head office.

Required profile

• Finance Master Degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar senior finance position.
• International experience is highly valued.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Strong forecasting abilities.
• Experience managing multicultural teams in an international environment.
