Deputy Project Manager (M/F) – Engineering & Marine Projects

About the role

The role supports the Project Manager in delivering strategic engineering and marine projects, ensuring smooth coordination of offshore activities and compliance with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination and day‑to‑day delivery of project activities.
• Maintain and update project schedules, milestones, resource plans and progress trackers using Microsoft Project.
• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and follow up on actions.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly and final project reports, KPI dashboards and field documentation.
• Support HSE and operational compliance processes, including inductions, risk assessments and environmental assessments.
• Liaise with vessel crews, port captains, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure smooth marine operations.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Engineering, Marine Studies, Environmental or related field.
• Previous exposure to offshore, maritime, oil & gas, construction or remote‑site operations.
• Strong written and spoken English and Portuguese.
• Proven ability to handle difficult conversations, manage expectations and work with limited supervision.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite, especially Excel, Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with project scheduling tools; Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Understanding of HSE principles, risk assessment and operational compliance.
