About the role

Baker Hughes is offering a Field Engineering Internship for 2026 in Mozambique. The program provides hands‑on experience in oil‑and‑gas field operations, allowing you to work alongside seasoned engineers on real projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal projects that deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Assist experienced engineers with field operations such as drilling, well testing, and equipment maintenance.
• Collect and analyse data from field activities to spot trends, issues, and opportunities for troubleshooting.
• Inspect and maintain field equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities, equipment inspections, and safety measures for compliance.
• Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards in all tasks.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluent in oral and written English with strong communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Mozambique without sponsorship.
