Grants and Partnership Manager

About the role

The Grants and Partnership Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of grants and partnership contracts, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and internal policies. This role serves as the primary liaison for contractors, finance teams, and program staff to guarantee timely and accurate disbursements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end grant process, from due diligence to execution, renewal, and close‑out.
• Draft, review, and track contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor contract timelines, deliverables, reporting obligations and expiration dates.
• Maintain grantee and contractor records in financial systems and act as the main point of contact for onboarding and compliance verification.
• Oversee payment schedules, resolve discrepancies and ensure timely disbursements.
• Support implementation and optimisation of grant management systems.
• Reconcile grant payments monthly, ensure correct coding and alignment with budgets.
• Prepare standard reports on contract status, committed funds and expenditures.
• Coordinate internal audits and ensure compliance with donor‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of finance/administration experience, including at least 3 years in global grant and partnership management.
• Experience in humanitarian or development contexts (minimum 2 years).
• Proven staff management and capacity‑building abilities.
• Strong knowledge of major donor requirements (UNHCR, UNICEF, ECW, AICS, etc.).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• ERP systems – Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision or similar.
