Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will own the local audit universe and risk assessment, plan and execute audits, evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, and report findings. The role ensures consistent application of Group internal audit methodology and builds local audit capability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Local Internal Audit Function, including audit planning and execution.
• Report findings, drive remediation, and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and continuous improvement within the subsidiary.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CIA, CA, ACCA, CPA or CISA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure and manufacturing background.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audit assignments independently and deliver reports with minimal supervision.
• Business‑level fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
