IT Senior System Technician

About the role

The Senior System Technician will manage day‑to‑day IT operations for SGS MCNet, ensuring platform stability, security, and support for both internal staff and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the main and disaster‑recovery data centre, including platform enhancements and equipment testing.
• Handle trouble‑ticketing, provide technical support to users, and conduct platform demos and training.
• Manage specialist IT staff responsible for applications and servers, and coordinate with the Network team for smooth data‑centre operations.
• Perform site visits to explain platform functions and maintain IT infrastructure, including QA/QC of platform registrations.

Required profile

• Honor degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems or Electronics, or a technical diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles, working with LAN/WAN, wired and wireless networks, and Cisco equipment.
• Certifications preferred: ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ITIL, A+.
• Strong cybersecurity expertise, problem‑solving skills, and high ethical standards.
