MRP Analyst – Manufacturing Planning

About the role

The MRP Analyst will connect every point of the manufacturing supply chain, from demand forecasting through to supply, logistics and finance. You will generate feasible monthly supply and inventory plans that meet customer service targets while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.

Key responsibilities

• Run and validate MRP in the planning system, checking material availability and forward stock projections.
• Review supplier production plans, identify critical material constraints, and adjust plans accordingly.
• Expedite urgent orders, ensure timely goods receipt (GRN) and maintain clean goods-in-transit records.
• Conduct weekly raw‑material stock counts, sign off variances and report to the Planning Manager.
• Manage supplier relationships, issue purchase orders, and reconcile monthly account issues.
• Track inventory levels against policy, monitor shelf‑life, and implement cost‑avoidance initiatives.
• Maintain master data accuracy (BOM, lead times, MOQ) across the planning tool.
• Generate and monitor KPI reports, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly and monthly routines.

• Experience in manufacturing or supply‑chain environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with planning, procurement and logistics teams.
• Proactive problem‑solver comfortable with data‑driven decision making.
