NDT & Welding Inspectors – 1 Year Contract in Mozambique

About the role

We are looking for qualified NDT & Welding Inspectors to support inspection activities on tanks, piping, structural steel, and welder qualification test plates for an ASME project in Mozambique. The role is project‑based with a 1‑year contract and involves on‑site inspections following international codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections in accordance with ASME Section V & IX, API 620/650, AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3 and ASME Section VIII.
• Conduct or support Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT).
• Support welder qualification testing and welding inspection activities.
• Review weld quality, inspection reports and test records.
• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety and client requirements.
• Carry out inspection activities as directed by the Site Construction Manager.

Required profile

• Experience in NDT inspection and/or welding inspection.
• RT Level II, MPI Level II, DPT Level II certification preferred (assistants with relevant site experience also considered).
• Knowledge of ASME, API and AWS codes and standards.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, tank construction, piping or industrial projects is a plus.
• Valid certifications and supporting documents available for client review.
• Familiarity with calibrated inspection equipment and safety devices (survey meter, pocket dosimeter, etc.).
• Understanding of ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Ability to work on an on‑call basis and mobilize to project sites as required.
