Packaging Operator – Filling & Labelling

About the role

The Operator will safely run and maintain packaging equipment in the filling and labelling areas, ensuring high product quality and cost efficiency. You will work on both manual and automatic machines, following production plans and health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor filling and labelling machines according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and comply with health‑safety legislation.
• Complete workstation and team‑room administration, including tracking and monitoring tasks.
• Manage PIMS & POMS data, taking corrective action on negative trends.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using 5‑Why methodology and QFR triggers.
• Contribute to AB reports and autonomous operations as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education with mechanical or electrical aptitude.
• Minimum 9 months on‑the‑job training and completion of SKAP within 12 months.
• Understanding of health‑safety and labour legislation.
• Demonstrated disciplined work ethic and focus on product quality.

Required skills
