Reservations Ticketing Agent

About the role

Stars Travel is looking for a full‑time Reservations Ticketing Agent to join its Beira office. You will be responsible for handling flight and travel bookings, issuing tickets, and managing changes or cancellations while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process flight and travel reservations, issue and re‑issue tickets in accordance with airline regulations.
• Provide itinerary options, fare quotes, and travel information to customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve booking issues, and process payments.
• Coordinate with airlines, partners, and internal teams to ensure accurate records in reservation systems.
• Identify upselling opportunities and support sales by promoting additional travel services.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience with reservations and ticketing processes, including fare calculation and ticket issuance.
• Knowledge of airline rules, itineraries, visa requirements, and corporate travel needs.
• Ability to work on‑site in Beira, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
• Formal training or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation system software.
• Competence in using common office software tools.
