Sales & Marketing Representative

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Representative will be based in Nacala and report to the Sales & Marketing Coordinator. The role focuses on generating revenue, expanding the customer base, and supporting marketing activities for SGS Mozambique.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue by growing the customer database and increasing market share.
• Develop relationships with new customers and support collaborative sales efforts.
• Prepare sales presentations, maintain sales pipeline, and handle quotation requests.
• Support tender processes and refer quotations for approval as needed.
• Engage with local markets to assess trends, attend exhibitions, and assist with marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the Technical Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle pressure.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and sales principles.
