Salesperson – Field Sales (Tete)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Salesperson to join Go Fresh Limited in Tete. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will drive sales of our fresh food products by building new customer relationships and supporting existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new customers across Tete and surrounding areas.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct field visits, present product information and process orders.
• Coordinate with delivery and accounts teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Monitor market trends, gather customer feedback and report sales performance to management.
• Support basic merchandising, ensure proper product display and uphold company service standards.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a proven track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Basic knowledge of the food or agribusiness sector, preferably poultry or fresh products.
• Effective communication in spoken and written English; local language skills are a plus.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage orders and documentation.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Tete and nearby regions.
• Minimum secondary school certificate; a diploma in Sales, Marketing or Business is advantageous.
• Prior experience in FMCG or food product sales is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate integrity and adhere to company policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as email, spreadsheets and sales reporting tools.
