Script Writer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media formats, including YouTube videos, commercials, television, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character arcs with directors, producers, and the broader creative team.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and manage pacing to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings and revise scripts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistent formatting according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter, or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with script‑writing software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.
