About the role

We are looking for a Semi‑Skilled Mechanic to join our team under the supervision of a qualified artisan. The role involves working independently on assigned tasks while the final checks remain the responsibility of senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and more complex mechanical repairs on equipment.
• Use fault‑finding equipment to diagnose issues.
• Operate both electrical and mechanical machinery safely.
• Select alternative methods to complete tasks when standard procedures are unsuitable.
• Carry out basic welding tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• Semi‑skilled level with willingness to develop towards full artisan qualification.
• Ability to work under supervision while handling tasks independently.
• Interest in pursuing a trade test for full qualification.
