Service Specialist – Surface Well Testing (SWT) I

About the role

We are seeking a Service Specialist to perform rig‑up, rig‑down and operation of Surface Well Testing (SWT) equipment across onshore, offshore and base‑camp environments. The role supports well control, fluid processing and reservoir data acquisition while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test, and operate SWT equipment at customer sites and field camps.
• Perform all phases of rig‑up and rig‑down under general supervision.
• Collect and deliver essential reservoir data using SWT and surface pressure control packages.
• Coordinate with Testing and Subsea Product Service Lines and oversee SWT operations on‑site.
• Plan job execution, conduct toolbox talks, review job plans with customers, and manage operational changes.
• Maintain equipment, complete documentation (Job Tickets, KPI metrics, Job Logs) and prepare basic customer reports.
• Mentor and train junior Service Operators; may act as Assessor for junior personnel.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Surface Well Testing equipment.
• Pass company assessments and meet Service Operator II competency requirements.
• Strong knowledge of testing and subsea (SWT) operations and local Halliburton Management System.
• Ability to interpret schematics, safely pressure‑test equipment, and use hand tools.
• Good reading, writing and basic math skills.
