Skills Development & Livelihoods Manager (Digital Learning)

About the role

The Skills Development & Livelihoods Manager will lead the learning‑to‑earning component of a UNICEF‑funded digital learning programme across four Mozambican provinces. Working with Digital Learning Coaches, the manager will ensure that digital education delivered via the Maza platform translates into concrete employment and entrepreneurship outcomes for around 1,500 youth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement digital skills and employability pathways for youth across 50 centres.
• Coordinate with private‑sector partners to align training with labour‑market demand.
• Facilitate internships, job placements for at least 80 youth and support 70 youth through entrepreneurship pathways, including start‑up kits and business coaching.
• Monitor and report on programme impact, ensuring targets for employment and income generation are met.
• Collaborate with project managers, coaches and local stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing youth skills‑development or livelihood programmes in a development context.
• Strong understanding of digital learning platforms and employability pathways.
• Ability to work across multiple provinces and travel regularly.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills
