Teacher – Various Subjects (Matola)

About the role

Star Kids Matola is seeking enthusiastic and qualified teachers to join its on‑site team in Matola. The contract position involves designing and delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects, adapting content to suit diverse learning styles and developmental levels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with Bright Brain’s educational approach.
• Teach individual and group sessions for subjects such as Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, History, Portuguese, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography and Biology.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues, families and the wider school community.
• Participate in training sessions, staff meetings and occasional school events to support program quality.

Required profile

• Teaching qualification or equivalent experience with children of various ages.
• Bilingual proficiency for positions that require teaching in two languages.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with learners, families and staff.
• Ability to manage classrooms, support different learning needs and ensure a safe environment.
• Willingness to adopt Bright Brain’s methodologies and engage in ongoing professional development.
