Technical Officer – Stock Pre‑Positioning

About the role

The Technical Officer – Stock Pre‑Positioning will support the EpiC Global Health Security project in Mozambique by managing emergency commodity planning, tracking, and rapid deployment. Based in Maputo, the role works closely with government ministries, provincial authorities and partner organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Support quantification exercises and forecasting for priority outbreak response commodities.
• Establish and maintain systems to track stock levels, storage locations, expiry dates and availability.
• Plan and coordinate the positioning and emergency deployment of commodities during outbreaks.
• Collaborate with MISAU, INS, RTC and provincial teams, and provide training on commodity management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, pharmacy, supply chain, logistics or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum four years of experience in public‑health emergency preparedness, logistics or supply‑chain management, preferably in Mozambique.
