Transit Representative Tempo Inteiro

About the role

The Transit Representative supports DP World’s customs and logistics operations by ensuring smooth clearance of shipments and proper management of transit movements. Working closely with clearing agents, the role guarantees that all documentation, payments and bond procedures are handled accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clearing agents to verify received documents, chase payments and follow up the clearance process.
• Monitor import/export container status, report deviations and ensure timely closure of transit movements.
• Collect, file and maintain all transit documents for audit and customs inspection.
• Assist the transit supervisor with tasks required to meet company goals while complying with customs laws and procedures.
• Contribute to a safe HSSE environment by following safety regulations, reporting hazards and adhering to company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in similar customs or transit roles is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with government personnel.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, be proactive, responsible and motivated.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and teamwork.
