Administration & Logistics Officer (CD)

About the role

The Administration & Logistics Officer supports project operations by managing procurement, stock, and logistical arrangements. This position works closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare purchase requisitions based on project orders and coordinate with other sectors to complete activity plans.
• Maintain stock of materials and equipment at the project level, implementing distribution plans and control measures.
• Apply thorough knowledge of procurement systems, procedures, and the supply chain.
• Assist staff, suppliers, and partners by verifying needs and directing them to appropriate resources.
• Arrange logistical support for meetings, including meals, documents, and venue setup.
• Copy, file, and archive incoming and outgoing mail and key documents.
• Prepare logistical request procedures (training, accommodation, meals, training material) following organizational guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma (12th grade) required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in administration, logistics, or related fields.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics handling is an advantage.
• Fluent written and oral Portuguese; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities.
• Proactive, able to work independently with good interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.
