Driver – Fixed Term (Humanitarian)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable driver to support our humanitarian projects by transporting staff, documents and supplies safely across the region. The role is fixed‑term and requires strict adherence to traffic laws and organisational safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport project staff safely, complying with all traffic laws and organisational regulations.
• Deliver project documents, assets and supplies as requested by provincial and district offices.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (water levels, oil, tire pressure, lights, signals) and ensure regular cleaning and safe parking.
• Report any abnormalities, damages or accidents to the program manager following WV procedures.
• Maintain a daily logbook for vehicle use and prepare monthly fuel expense reports for the supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence.
• High‑school level education.
• Certification in defensive driving or mechanics (advantage).
• Proven experience in a similar driver role, including rural and sub‑optimal road conditions.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and fuel management.
• Previous humanitarian work experience is a plus.
