Mechanical Technician - Mobile Equipment

About the role

The Mechanical Technician for Mobile Equipment is responsible for maintaining the safety, reliability, and availability of automatic and mobile machinery, including cranes. You will work on troubleshooting, modifications, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety and discipline in the work area.
• Perform troubleshooting, modification, and control of automatic and related equipment.
• Ensure maximum operational availability of cranes through diagnostics and repairs.
• Carry out repair and diagnostic procedures and submit routine inspection reports.
• Work independently when required and promptly report malfunctions and failures.
• Assume additional duties in the supervisor’s absence and monitor emergency work.
• Guarantee compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Execute all preventive mechanical maintenance as defined in the system.
• Respond immediately to malfunctions reported by operations.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date work orders and coordinate creation of work orders for all mechanical tasks.
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for material purchases or requests.
• Keep facilities and equipment tidy and clean.
