Senior Civil Engineer – 10+ Years Experience

About the role

The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the design and review of civil systems for building and infrastructure projects. This full‑time, on‑site position requires ensuring compliance with codes, safety standards, and client requirements while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and review of civil systems for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and validate civil drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate power distribution and power system designs, including panel boards, feeders, and distribution networks.
• Perform technical calculations, load analyses, and protection coordination.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and architectural teams and support project managers with technical input.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve construction‑phase technical issues, and contribute to value‑engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in civil engineering principles with a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Several years of experience in civil engineering for construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Knowledge of international and local civil codes and standards.
• Proven ability to work on‑site, manage multiple tasks, and take ownership of technical decisions.
